Tried the Coke with Lime and couldn't do it...Now Cherry Coke is good..Wife packed me a goodie bag to tie me over until I eat..Got some spinich dip and little pieces of pumpernickle bread and some pumpkin roll..

I like coke with lime, coke with vanilla but cherry coke just does not work for me. Sounds like you have a nice goodie bag there.

I don't like cherry coke - the proportions of cherry to coke are wrong - but I do like diet coke with cherries in it. I can't taste the lime in the coke with lime, except that it tastes a little off to me. The vanilla coke tastes like cream soda, which I don't really like.

The best to you too, Terry, and the soup is wonderful - pumpkin (in place of the butternut squash the recipe calls for - I have a lot of pumkpin from my garden) and onions, sauteed, then add 2 apples and a quart of chicken broth, boil, then simmer for 30 minutes, puree, put back in the pan (use a really big saucepan - mine is 3 or 4 quarts), add 1 cup cream or milk, ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg, simmer until hot... and it freezes well, too. I'll probably make another batch; I have 3 pumpkins from my garden sitting on my kitchen counter, and several butternut squash I need to use.

Say it aint so Kacey Cherry Coke is the bomb, Vanilla Coke is too much like medicines my Great Grand mother gave us.

Well I got a Honey Bake Ham they are so great plus a Turkey from them this year so all we are doing is salad and veggies with of course the pies oh lord the glorious pies.
