WOW!! Thats great Terry!!:ultracool

If you don't mind me asking, what type of diet is this?

Holy cow, I'm up to almost 800 posts on MT. Never thought I would get close to that. Never been higher than 75 or 80 on other forums.

From what he's said before, I think it's a starvation diet!

Well, thats never a good way to go IMO, but then again, looking at the portions of food that we're supposed to be eating when on a diet, we may as well be starving ourselves. LOL!

Sure I have two hard boil eggs in the morning or fruit, lunch is always a salad no dressing or Tomatoe soup and some more fruit dinner is 6 oz of chicken or fish with stir fry veggies, snacks consist of celery or carrots and only about two to three ounces at a time and only two times a day.

Oh yea working out threee to four hours a day

Terry, thanks for posting a quick overview of your diet, I am going to try it as well. I have to lose some weight and been putting it off for way too long. That sounds like something I could stick with actually.

You know if you leave the potatoe chips and candy and get off the Dr. peppers and really just buckle down it is easy, once you get though the first couple of weeks.

Cool! Yeah, I can see how that would make the pounds come off. At a gym I used to belong to, they had a program where you would work with a trainer, who would not only give you a workout routine, but also plan a diet for you. I had a list of things I could eat, etc. and they had me eating 5 times a day. Breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner, snack. It worked pretty good.

If you just stick to it and that is usally my downfall is will power but I have to loose for the doctors says it will help my heart and I still want to see my kids graduate and get married and have there childern so it is time to do what they say.

I've just recently changed a lot about my meals. Lots more stir frys, a lot less carbs, and bunches and bunches of dark green veggies along with smaller portions. I'm finally starting to not feel hungry all the time.

Oh, and my new snack food is carrots.

Thats true. Its always hard at first to adapt to smaller portions, better food, etc. Sometimes its a pain to prepare all this healthy stuff, and so much easier to grab something quick, ie: fast food, but in the long run, we're doing ourselves a favor by eating right and exercising regularly.

You are so right

Cutting out the fast food will be the easiest part for me. I bet I haven't stopped by a fast food joint for 6 months. It is the smaller protions and actually good food that may present the problems. I like fried anything.
