Sounds like you had a great time, I really do miss the snow part of winter

Actually the couple of years I spent in the Dallas area I did miss the snow also.

Especially when a decent cup of coffee cannot be found...During my truck driver days I use to make the guys isn the warehouse ill as my favorite breakfast was a Coke and a cream filled pastry...

Yea it would help but me I only want it for a couple of days not for 5 months

5 Months would be nice. We got our first snow in October, and we will continue to get it for at least another 5 or 6 weeks.

We were lucky up here..December was snowless and temps were mild...But come Jan and Feb WOW , Mother Nature made up for what she didn't dump on us in Dec...

Yeah, we actually had a very mild winter this year as well, but it can go away now. I don't think we ever had a snow storm that dumped more that 16 or 18" and we never did see -30 actual temp. Got close a couple of times but never dropped below -28. I can live with that! Wind stunk this year though, blew all the time and the wind chill was just brutal for a bit last month.

As sick as it may sound, I just settled into a big salad and a Pepsi to wash it down. Don't know what came over me, but a salad suddenly sounded real good (if you knew how I usually eat, you would be reaching for some Nitro tabs right about now.) Usually the only greens I get are the ones that fly into my face while I'm mowing the lawn.

Well, I have to get out of here for a bit. Have a few vehicles to go look at. Nothing new (I hate to be the one to take that huge depreciation just because I signed on the line.) but new to us. Planning a trip back to Michigan this Summer to soak the tootsies in lake Michigan again and maybe stop by Brian's training hall in Alma on our way through, and want something a bit better than the POS I have now. It has served it's purpose and is now showing it's age.

Catch ya later Bydand...Let us know what ya found..I purchased a Ford Explorer that came out of one of their lease programs..I was a Chevy man for the longest and eventually came over Olds..The Ford has proven to be very dependable especially on the Winter..
