Bring money...LOTS OF MONEY....The best steak I ever had was while I was in Texas..

I had one of the best steaks ever when I was in Texas as well! However, I know for a fact that you cannot get any better meat that what we have at our local meat market. Their prime rib and 2" plus thick steaks are simply incredible.

My time in Texas was MANY MOONS ago..Since then the local markets have kicked up the quality of their meats...So I must agree...

Yea but it is something to go out on the ranch and build a fire and grill a 2' steak witht he blood still running out of it.

My time in Texas was over 17 years ago! I need to get out that way again. I will say this for Texas though, it is one gigantic state!

I refuse to believe it could be worthy of eating!

Get a pressure cooker, and you can make your own really good chili in about a half an hour!

It wasn't bad, try one some time...I have the recipe for my Grandmas homemade spagetti sauce, but nothing for chili..Besides I'm the only one that eats it, wife can't handle the spices..

I might do that, but I take my chili very seriously. Make my own chili powder and all that. I'll dig up some recipies for ya if you'd like.

Jeff, your own chili powder? Man you have to send that to me. I love chili and my 8 year old is getting to really enjoy a good spicy chili as well.
