Local news guy talking about the AstraZeneca vaccine. When he played a clip of a Brit calling it the "Oxford poke," he said something like, "I like to refer to it as a 'freedom shot', but okay."

Life in China has returned to normal, which I find interesting. And to go to China, you need to get a Covid test AND and antibody test. If you come back positive for either, you will not be allowed in the country. And if you are negative, you are looking at a 24 day quarantine

Went on some karate adventures yesterday... there's nothing like training at the beach... something magical about it... didn't know what to focus on but just let the environment decide for me hehe... a focus on natural relaxed movement if anything.

Lost one of my kitties yesterday morning.
Gave her meds and she was basically gone before I could find my car keys.

And I have to say, filling in the hole would have been easier if the dogs would have not stood by whimpering.
I need one more bag of soil (can't dig deep, so I have to build up. and another blackberry bush.
And a place where I can finally plant the peach I got for her brother over 2 years ago.
down to 4, not getting replacements!

thanks.
it is weird not to have to safeguard against the cat ripping in the bread or digging up chicken bones.

I always like a folkstyle mma wrestling breakdown. As it generally breaks a lot of the self defence issues BJJ has.

Ever since the acid reflux flared up again, I've been craving coffee. I am more of a tea drinker than a coffee drinker, but I have wanted coffee, and coffee, even decaf coffee, is a big no no when one has acid reflux issues. However over the weekend, I seemed to be back to normal so I tried a cup of coffee yesterday.....nope, still can't drink coffee. Had 2 sips and the reflux came back...however I can drink tea again...so things are looking up

I've got minor acid reflux issues. Normally doesn't impact me-but coffee is always a no go, no matter how good my stomach has been doing lately. I normally stick to a couple sips of tea if I absolutely need caffeine.

For whatever reason, coffee has never been an issue for me (knock on wood). But I've noticed that since I quit drinking alcohol, what issues with heartburn and reflux I did have are completely gone.
