yep its the 31st today happy Chinese new years! im probably wont do any celebrating but i got a Chinese lantern i can hang up though... its red and has a picture of a cherry blossom on it

today I'm get to work with broadsword... i cant wait to get to switch from wooden broadsword to metal hopefully i wont mess up like i did when i was younger(when i was 8 i was holding my grandpas military sword and i swung it down by the side of my leg and cut a large amount of the skin off.)

I took out a copper support bracket for a copper water pipe in my old house with a combat steel (unsharpened) dao. Luckily I hit the bracket and not the pipe

It's snowing with sub-zero temps here. Cozumel will be low-80s. The water 100 feet down will be 80-82. Not a difficult choice...

And the sharks are friendly. Right Xue?

I'd choose snowing and subzero. Plenty of time this summer for that 80 degree stuff

..8 hours at the dojang today - 3 hours of training and the rest was helping out the kid's class and with 3 rounds of testing - that was a good 8 hours!!
