Good morning Carol. How are you? How's the boxing going?

I'm doing OK! Haven't tried any of the boxing yet. I went back for a swim at my old health club on a guest pass. They offered me a pretty good price to join back up, along the lines of $200 for 12 months. I may join back up and stick with swimming for cardio, I don't know. See how the next few days go. I hope to start up privates again on June 15. Looking forward to that :)
 
Sounds good. Especially for the hot summer months. What will your private lessons be in?

Most Kali, or at least the blend I've been doing with Guro May...part Kali, part combatives. Not sure how I'll do with Silat, may have to finish taking off the weight I put on over the winter before I go back to doing more of that.
 
Oh, my bad! I thought you said that you were done with that and going to box/muay thai.

Oh no...not done totally...I had paid in advance for a 13 week block of lessons and I reached the end of my 13 weeks. I just need to find a way of getting in some more cardio before I start a new block of training again.
 
Sounds like you gotta start jogging! (as do I-LOL) Or, some tae bo in the living room.

Hmmm.....you may be on to something, Mr. Sword :)

Jogging would be really good for me. Its just the sort of exercise I need plus I don't have to worry about hours or schedule. My hips can't take more than a half-mile but even that is something.

You're a smart man :)
 
You'll get stronger and will run further the more you do it. Find a track or a beach to save the knees.

Great got up and ride the bike for about two mile and walked the dogs while doing it, they love to go for walks. Now I'm sitting here waiting on the family to finally wake up.
