Well, there is a bright side to this. They just came across the car. Of course nobody was in it.

As for leaving the car running, I have a remote starter on both vehicles, so I start it, the doors stay locked, and I have a nice toasty car in the winter or a nice cool one in the summer. :)

I'm seriously thinking about doing that with the Honder. I'd like to put in a remote starter and a decent stereo this summer. It's got a lot of miles on it for a 3 year old car but...Honders run forever :D

She is SO lucky they didn't find it stripped or burning..That happens alot up here...

Same here. A few have ended up in the water. This sounds like a case of someone needing a quick ride, so rather than walk, call a friend or cab, they steal a car. And of course, its turning into a big fiasco. 7 cops including one with a dog, and a Sgt. As you can see, what I said about it being quiet is true...nothing to do, so everyone goes. :)

Yes they do. :) It was a good investment IMO. I paid alot for mine due to the extended range, but in the long run, its worth it. :)

Well, the car was recovered :) but no bad guy :( Sounds like they may have some leads, so who knows.

Ahhh well. Life goes on in the naked city. All in all, not a bad ending. :)

Actually Mike, I know it still gets reported as a car theft but how do insurance companies usually process such a thing?

Well that's gonna do it for me...Gotta be up at 5:30 to workout...Have a Good Evening everyone....

Thats a good question. The cop was telling me that it depends on the insurance co. Because the keys were in it, if it wasn't recovered, there could be a chance that they would not cover it.
