At least it's nice somewhere... we're up to a balmy 6 above!
Well it not 6 below so be thankful for what you do have. Me and here it is 65 and dropping to 25 tonight the high will be 30 tommorrow so that is cold enough for me
We are at -23 degrees F right now with a wind chill near -50 F. It is a cold one up here.
Here is something of a rant on my part.
They cancelled all the school buses because it was too cold for them to run, but when I called my daughters' schools, classes weren't cancelled for them. They were expected to walk to school! I think that is really stupid and told them that my kids wouldn't be attending...now, tell me, does that make sense? Too cold for diesel buses to run, but okay for kids to walk to school. :idunno: sounds kinda stupid to me.

It's not the temperature, it's the contrast... Wednesday it was 61!
That sounds about right... it's too cold for the buses (diesel doesn't run well at really low temperatures) but hey - the moving parts on kids don't freeze together like the metal parts on a bus (NOT!)
