I was in a strange mood tonight, mourning the swift passage of time, so I thought I'd go for a short drive.
As I was driving up Highway 61, I noticed the sun had set and the sky, to my left, was a beautiful shade of orange, blending to violet and dark toward the north, the direction I was driving. The contrast of silhouettes from distant trees, silos and other random objects made the colors even more entrancing. I wished I had my camera with me.
I tried to find a nice place to park and just watch until the sky darkened, but all places to park had objects obstructing the views.
I finally turned around and headed south, stealing glances to what was now my right. Just when I thought it couldn't be more beautiful, I saw something that absolutely stunned me: there were patches in the dark, recently-harvested fields that were glowing.
It took me a second to figure out that they were actually shallow pools of water that were reflecting what little light was left in the sky. They looked like quicksilver or like they were lit from within.
But that isn't what I stopped in to say. I just wanted to remind you all that this thread is MINE

Well home from the school got about have of the painting done and layed some new carpet, tommorrow need to relay the puzzle mats and clean up everything so class can go on as always and then I still need to paint the upper half it colors and patchup a few holes and paint some more and be done.
I'm tired and going to bed 16 hours today fixing the old place up, I'll send some pics in a couple of days of how it looks now
