Better, thanks for asking - I think I'm over the worst of it, now that the fever's gone... now if I could just sleep one night without either benadryl or sitting upright - preferably both - I'd be great!

You just watch who you're hissing at - I don't allow behavior like that in my classroom... although I have been known to growl at the kids on occasion!
That was hurtful....LOL
We are NOT in your classroom..I had a few teachers like that back in the day
Jeans and khakis are dressing up? :wink2:
I am impressed you got off if you were near-hallucinating, though - congrats!
I know what you mean about fever... drink LOTS of liquids; worked for me. Of course, I couldn't get too far from a bathroom for very long...Dang, I'm still hallucinating. This fever won't go away. I meant a sweater and khakis. An attorney friend of mine advised me to not get toooooo dressed up for the occasion.
See, that's the way it's supposed to work. It's the people who don't learn that I worry about...But yeah, I'm glad that's over with. I learned a hard lesson, and I'm grateful that it wasn't any harder than it was.

After a review of recent posts here, after much discussion among the staff, we have taken some extreme measures.
The disclosure of personally identifying information by anyone is a risk in todays world, when done by a child, more so. There are moral and legal obligations at play which have forced our hand.
As a result, I have been forced to delete over 500 posts from this thread enmasse (as reading through them all would take way too much time considering the size of this thread).
Both Kenposterre and Edmund BlackAdder are no longer members of this forum.
Registration for this site is now restricted to those 16 or older. Anyone found falsifying their ages to gain access will be permanently bared future membership.
I realize that some may not agree with these decisions. I assure you, they did not come lightly. I am sorry things came to this point.
I have reopened this thread for discussion.
