Better, thanks for asking - I think I'm over the worst of it, now that the fever's gone... now if I could just sleep one night without either benadryl or sitting upright - preferably both - I'd be great!

Sleep well! I'd say, don't let the bedbugs bite... but I don't think bedbugs live in wood, just mattresses - besides, since they suck blood too, you probably consider them kindred spirits.

Yeah... the thing is, when I growl, the kids mostly laugh at me - which is actually what it's for, to break tension. It usually works great.

Dang, I'm still hallucinating. This fever won't go away. I meant a sweater and khakis. An attorney friend of mine advised me to not get toooooo dressed up for the occasion.

But yeah, I'm glad that's over with. I learned a hard lesson, and I'm grateful that it wasn't any harder than it was.

I know what you mean about fever... drink LOTS of liquids; worked for me. Of course, I couldn't get too far from a bathroom for very long...
