Well as the story goes, I ended up making the BLT's, so I fulfilled her good intentions.

Watched one of our grandsons playing basketball. Fine play, for 7 year olds.
Booking trips later today. Cozumel for Sues' birthday in February, and Cancun for our anniversaries in May.

Shes' staying home! Our exchange student wants to see it so I volunteered for this duty rather than having to go see "Bad Grandpa" with her.

Is it rumoured to be that poor a remake? The original Carrie was really rather good I thought so I am a bit bemused as to why they thought it needed doing again.

I haven't seen the reviews, but the lead actress has been on a streak recently after her character's popularity in "Kick-***" and I think it's about using her as much as being a remake.

Yes. And it was actually very clever of me. Hear me out...

Sue had never traveled, so I planned for us to go to the UK (I'd lived there and loved it) and get married on the battlements at Amberley Castle. She wasn't convinced that would be legal, even though we live in a common law state.
So on May 2nd we had a JP come to the house for a civil ceremony with family and a few of our closest friends. We went from there to the airport and flew to Heathrow.
On May 9th (which is also the day of our first date) we got married at Amberley.

We got married on top of the wall, just to the right of the gatehouse towers.

Notice that these dates are one week apart.

Here's the clever bit.
What do guys get in trouble for?
Right. Forgetting the anniversary.
Since the wedding here was her idea, she plans the day and takes ME out for that day. And I take HER out for the 9th.
So if I forget, I've got a weeks reminder. Unless she forgets, which is a Get Out Of Jail Free card.
