Absolutely with a heavy coat on forget about striking all but the most exposed areas. Plus those grappling techniques with the gi turn into great moves with a coat!

Remember that old line about "relatives, like fish, begin to smell after 3 days?" Well... I've been here since Saturday, and I'm not leaving until Friday. Of course, that involves a 13-hour drive with only the dog for company - but even so - I WANNA GO HOME.
Not close enough to stop in again without pissing off my mother... damnit. She just doesn't understand why I'd rather be working out that eating lunch with a friend who grew up near where she did in Nashville - some lady I've never met from a place I lived in for 9 months 25 years ago... I can't imagine why that doesn't enthuse me! :idunno:
