I usually bring stuff in as well, although I'll order out 1 or 2 times a week just for a change, but doing it everyday gets expensive.

I hear ya...$6.00 for a sandwich and $1.50 or more for a Coke...Night All....

Drac,
Five years, you can do that standing on your hands.
Our station just put in a new computer system. It does do alot however it needs two - three times more info to be entered into it. Now dispatch gets really hammered when calls come in. It takes longer to enter most of the required info.into the dam system than it does for a street officer to handle the average call. All of the "on board"computer systems are now the same way. The "on boards* run all of the traffic info really fast but when you have to enter any case info from the on board back into the stations data base it really s****, especially with those mini key boards.

Yeah that's how it is here..The more programs they tie into the slower this station becomes..We are just now getting the MDT's in the cruisers here, the partime gig had them for awhile and they work fine..The main is super fast and has the map tie in so we can direct responding units...

You're up early. I will make you a nice strong coffee.
