Evening Kacey...
I'm supposed to work my part time job tonight but I feel like a truck hit me..That means I'm coming down with something...Not good..
That always sucks... I know exactly what you mean - that's what happens to me too. The only thing that works for me is getting as much rest as possible - although I realize that with your schedule that may not be possible. I hope you feel better soon!
Well I called off for tonights shift..They have 2 hrs to find a replacement..I think ALL the extra hours I have been working in these subzero temps is finally catching up to me..I feel like I'm burning up although the wife says I don't have a temp..So I'm gonna stay in..
I think that's wise - what good is overtime money if you spend it all on medication and doctor's visits?
Drac, quick suggestion from somebody who has spent WAY too many hours out in the bitter cold. When you come in, before you jump in that hot shower to warm up a bit; toss a big ol' blanket or quilt in the dryer. When you pop out of the nice warm shower, grab that sucker and wrap up in it for a bit. It will melt the chills right out, quicker than anything else I have found.
Hope you get feeling better quick.
Well, the Gordon household had a fun day today. Woke up to a fresh 10" of snow this morning and the boys siezed-the-day big time. Siezed it, then throttled every last bit of enjoyment out of fresh snow as only kids can do.!
Now the only frist tracks I get are a run down to the gas station first thing in the morning because I was an idiot and didn't keep the snow-blower gas can full.
Well the wife is home from the gym. Time to watch a nice movie and snuggle on the couch
Hearing of your cold I just had a nice glass of oarnge juice. The last thing I need up here in Alma is another cold. We have had our fair share this year.
