Freezing rain and snow anywhere around DFW area stinks. I remember them closing school when there were flakes of snow in the air, not even sticking.

Oh well, boned again..The dispatcher that was on sick leave has returned and it's back to patrol..No posting today..Tomorrow for sure...

Goooooooooood Morning MartialTalk!

A Couple of inches of snow hit during the night plus we are enjoying a little bit of freezing rain. That means that the kiddos have a snow day and they are staying home today with me!

Morning Brian! :)

Weather wise, there is a chance we may pick up a few in. on Monday, but who knows...the weather is so crazy, I'm at the point, where I take it for what its worth and wait to see what actually happens.

Terry, how did the DFW area weather the ice yesterday? Any bread and milk left in a 400 mile area? That is one thing I remember from living there years ago.

Just like always people buying and closing up store's, today it is suppose to be in the 50 so it is all but gone as of now. It is amazing what happens around here with a little cold weather

I hope that we get about four or six inches over the weekend. I am teaching down south outdoors tomorrow and would love to have some snow to work with. Plus I would really like to take the boy's sledding this weekend.

Yeah, I grew up in Western Michigan right on Lake Michigan and the family moved down to Seagoville when I was 13. That first "winter" we were getting a bit of snow and Mom asked me to take my bike down to the store for a couple of things and thought I was nuts when I told her it was almost empty. Here I was riding my bike all over the place with a sweater on and now know the neighbors must have thought i was crazy.
