If you need help with your website, ChatGPT does a pretty decent job making layouts and graphics. Just somthing to consider. I've used it a bit for making graphics and training charts.

I'm always concerned with chatgpt about giving them extra info, that it can use for other people. But just in terms of setting up layouts for other pages that might work

Currently looking at volunteering opportunities with wildlife conversation- I don't want to live in a world with no elephants. I think I stand an OK chance of getting a position, I have experience working with horses and conservation volunteering in this country.

Working on my Mandarin, listening to traditional Chinese music and eating the homemade pork dumplings that Mrs Xue just made.... all in all, a pretty good afternoon.... now off to train some Wing Chun and Taijiquan in my basement Kwoon or Guan, depending on what I am training at the time ;)

Just realized this could also go into another thread...see ya there

Not that I expect these movies are on anyones list of must watch, but the last 2 days I watched

The Monkey King: Havoc in Heaven's Palace with Donnie Yen as the Monkey King
The Monkey King 2 with Aaron Kwok as the Monkey King

They are both good movies, but the Donnie Yen movie is better IMO. HIs portrayal seems closer to others I have seen and (more traditional), being a martial artist, his fights are more dynamic, But there is a lot of wirefu, but then I do not see how you could do a live Monkey King movie any other way

Aaron Kwok is good, but plays it more like a tough guy, and he moves well, bnut he is a dance not a martial artist. Also a lot of Wirefu

Of course I could be being prejudicial.... since I am into martial arts

I plan on watching Monkey King 3 with Aaron Kwok soon

Just had someone (American) tell me that Japan and China were pretty much the same thing because they could read Japanese and read some of the Chinese characters..

Good luck. My best friend's kid took a summer job counting owls in California. It didn't pay a lot, but he enjoyed being paid to basically camp all summer.

They are definitely not the same. I have a Japanese wife and she would strongly object! 😆

Utterly exhausted from the moment I woke up having slept through all 3 alarms. Feeling nauseous and generally crap. So I've taken the day off. I'm going to hang out on the internet, read deteriorating books and listen to music.

And a little 'research'. It seems the hand-tooled look is just starting to come in. This is good news for me as all my sculptures end up looking as if they've been hacked about a bit. I have a great reverence for what my tutor called the 'operatic materials'- clay, plaster and bronze. But then again, it's like opera also in the sense that I can't do it myself. I can enjoy it while pursuing my own more humble calling.

You know, if you are trying to relearn a language.... it just doesn't make since to get yourself a list of 100 words and try and memorize them in 3 days.

You know, electric cars are cool and all but I can't escape the suspicion that society is already beginning to show signs of collapse, like celebrity love island. You can run a petrol car on alcohol with a few modifications, but mains electricity is going to be a tougher ask.
