You know, despite all the kata and bag-beating I go in for, I wouldn't actually get into a fight- these loafers are Italian

I have GOT to get myself some martial arts movies. I've never really been into them, but I'd love to watch them. Sadly, it's not something the family watch a lot of. I didn't get into it that way, it was an accident as part of my sport activity on my duke of Edinburgh's award program

You know, there's nothing wrong with being in your 40s. I know what I want to do in life, I've worked a few things out, I'm still strong and healthy, there are tiny little people who love me and whom I love, artistically I'm still an emerging artist so it's still fun, I've stopped ruining my health with drink and tobacco- don't miss it in the slightest- and I have friends and loads of stuff to do. Being in your 40s rocks, actually. The lord has been very good to me.

Valerian grows as a weed up at the family woodland. I'm going to look into how to make my own nytol

Celebrating my second chin-up. That took a lot more work than it used to. I was up to 15 when I was a kid, but I am getting them back.

I've been a very silly boy. I've smoked 10 hamlets. But that's only equivalent to 3 adult size cigars or 1 real cigar, and I'm back on the NRT now. Still, I curse myself.

Completely unrelated to anything posted before….last time I was in Beijing, the breakfast the hotel had always had a big bowl of yogurt they labeled “vanilla yogurt “… it wasn’t vanilla yogurt… it was plain yogurt with honey…. I liked it better than vanilla… and 2 years later.. I still by plain yogurt and mix in honey…..dang Beijingren got me addicted…..
if your from china, i`m looking for information on the daliy life of the people that started Sholin temple in 495 china, the people they had to deal with, contend with, the adventures they went through, building of the temple, etc. thank you so very much.

I've decided I will go back to class, but only when I am ready. I want 50 honest pushups before I go back. the pushups in class are not good and I need to be able to do them well. They expect 100 for the black belt grading, but I've seen those gradings and those are not pushups. It's a matter of personal honour.

Stop making excuses and get back to class. This is just like the "I'll join a gym when I've lost 20 pounds."

Excuses multiply, so don't start.

Nope. Doing 75 crappy pushups may not be the best idea, but it does exhaust you. I want to work on doing actual, honest pushups rather than be dragooned into doing unnecessary numbers of awful ones, which is what happened last time I came back from a layoff. It's not just a performance issue, it's a safety issue too. I work manual labour, and I can't afford to get injured- literally. I don't multiply my excuses, I don't work like that.

Gotta crawl before you walk, the the best way to learn how to swim is to throw yourself in the deep end.
