It's almost a relief just to have a normal cold rather than a major psychiatric episode. Pass the tissues and the co-codamol

Do you think taking co-codamol is a good idea for you?
paracetamol (acetaminophen) and codeine

Damn, my knees do NOT like jumping any more. I'm hoping this will improve as I lose weight.

Well brain me with a chamberpot and sell it to a frenchman, if it isn't the hottest day of the year so far

2 mile route march over moderate hills with light pack. I didn't plan this, I just needed to get home from work and the car's fiddlesticked.

Found another client today and got paid by an existing one. So I'm a 41 year old man who cuts old ladies' lawns for a living, but it's a start. I need to use this time in my life to get to a point where I'm selling paintings.

Never a thing wrong with honest labor...

There are a lot of guys your age in my area doing rather well with a lawn care business. But they all had to start somewhere, and build their business. Worked with a young guy, in his 20s, that had a degree in Computer Science. He decided he liked working outside more, so he left IT to go work with his father in a landscaping business

I'm not complaining- it's honest work and I'm making a buck. I just expected more of myself. As I say, it's a a start.

I have realized, after many years on MT and 4 eye surgeries.....and a recent gel detachment in the good eye..... that I look at long posts and think...to many words...... nothing wrong with that, reading them would likely be quite insightful and I would learn from them..., but it is really hard for me, these days, to read long posts, or any long articles on a computer screen..... rather Ironic actually for an IT professional

You know, I'm even more supportive of women in traditionally male roles now that the post office and various couriers are sending a different beautiful woman to my door every day

More boxing...

Working on getting the hips involved a little more and applying a strictly cross-body method for now. It keeps the hands free and there's less required awareness or mental rehearsal in managing movement and extraneous tasks while on the move.

Didn't want store bought hardware for attaching the strap in keeping with a 'folk style' theme.

The strap links are made from bronze allow brazing rod and the strap is lashed to the box kinda like a baseball glove with leather strand made from 6-7 ounce leather - wetted, dyed and mink oiled. The strap, box and bolsters are 8-9 ounce leather. The strap is adjustable for more or less drop depending on how one prefers to sling it.

Generally, our mail carriers stay on a route for quite a while... What are you doing to make them send a different woman every day?

I've got the beginnings of an ambition. I asked myself what I'd do if I won the lottery, and I decided I would buy a farm in the hills. That way I would have a lifestyle, an income and a place to live. The rest of the money, apart from a small fund for emergencies, I would put into a trust for my nephew and niece. I have always loved farms and the work that goes with it- especially cows, chickens and horses. So my life goal is to somehow save up enough money to start a small farm. It's a pipe dream at the moment, but I think if I work hard enough I can make it happen.
