Sounds like a busy day!

The only things I have on my docket today is class and protecting the house from rouge pieces of paper by putting small holes in them.

Those rogue pieces of paper are always a nuisance!

How's it shaping up?

Things are shaping up well. I've actually been very impressed with this general contractor that I hired. He is where he says he'll be, when he says he'll be there. Never have I run into this before. The extra cost involved with hiring a GC has been well worth it.

Excellent 14 Kempo that is always good! I was fortunate in that when I built my house the general contractor was an upstanding guy and concentrated on one house at a time. That really made a differance.

Yeah, most of my experience with contractors hasn't been good. They seem to disappear for days at a time, usually right after checks are dispersed ... LOL ... well, not funny really.

Sorry I disappeared there for a second I was updating my Blog!

No that is not funny and you are right many disappear right after they have a check in hand.

Cool Jeff. One thing that is nice about where you live is that you have a range in the back yard. The range I go to is ten minutes away and I would love to have one in the back yard.

10 minutes isn't far at all. I remember when I lived in Indy I had to go almost an hour to shoot any longarms. Heck, to shoot handguns was still a half hour drive.

But the trade off is I'm still on dial-up!

Well that is a trade off for sure as dial up is rough. I hope that eventually you will get high speed down there in the country out in Michiana.

Ten minutes is not bad but nothing beats having the opportunity to walk right out your door and shoot. I am fortunate that I can throw in my back yard and my basement is fully matted and decked out like a training hall and I have weights everything here. Nothing beats that but boy would I like to shoot on my property. Maybe just maybe someday I will move out in the country. (that is where my heart is anyway) Still Alma is in general out in the country so ranges, etc. are pretty close.

8 hours and 45 minutes since the last post in the LPT ... hmmm ... all the post-whores must be very busy this weekend, as am I, but I'm here to whore at least one ... LOL

I'm ok. I had a long and difficult semester. I usually just popped on here to play in the arcade in between all of the work, to break the tension. I came back on a couple of days ago, and get into it right off the bat--incredible!
