Yes, several of those boxes were placed out for his perusal at the store!

I had quite the comics addiction going when I was in high school and college - but then it hit the point that you had to buy 3-6 titles to follow a single story line, and some were titles I wasn't otherwise interested in, so after a while I quit buying them - but I've never gotten rid of any of them.

Yeah, that only seems to have gotten worse so I assume it works. :(

I sold my collection 20 years ago for ca$h, regrettably!

I've considered selling at least some of mine a few times - but the titles I'm willing to part with aren't worth that much, and the ones that are worth something will get more valuable as time goes on, so I keep putting it off.

Yeah, I wish I'd taken that perspective! Good luck--I hope you hold on to them.

Hi Terry - have a safe trip!

Drac - hope you are feeling better ...

Arnisador -- my partner loves her older Mad Magazines and huge collection of baseball cards.

Everyone's a kid!!!

For me, musical instruments (guitars, drums ...) :-)

Hope everyone is having a nice day. We still have some scattered snow with more on the way. I am going to have to catch a little nap before that ball drops -- or else I might miss it :-) (LOL).

Ah, baseball cards! I tried to interest him in them but apparently they're passe. :( He does play collectible card games though.

She has a 1953 Mickey Mantle and a 1954 Jackie Robinson and a bunch of others. Her collecting is a serious matter. :-) She loves baseball.

She loves baseball.

Don't we all?

Sounds like she has some valuable cards. Does she store them somewhere for safekeeping? I'm amazed how much value people leave in their houses, hoping thieves are dumb and will only take the TV! But we do it too with my son's Magic: The Gathering card collection...

The wife is making LASAGNA....

Drac I am envious. Tomorrow my wife is making one of a kind VanCise Fire Chili!

(Nothing quite like it)

I'm not going to be nearly that creative - but I am making baked scallops for dinner. I haven't quite decided what I'm having with them yet.
