Sleeping in late is a rarity for me as I am normally up at around 4 to workout and my treasonous body doesn't understand vacation mode...
Mine doesnt either when I first start my vacation, but when I finally realize I dont have to go to work it usually turns off the inner alarm clock

Thats funny. I want to branch out eventually and learn some other different styles. There is a Hung Gar school here that I would like to try, but all this is going to be after I get my BB in Kempo

I'm learning a Hung Gar form now, Tiger/Crane. Funny thing, all our kempo forms we talk about by moves, this form we first have to name the section, then the move. Long form, just finished my fourth section. Even have two different salutations for it.

Is Hung Gar deep and strong stances? Thats what Ive gathered. It looks impressive

Thats really cool, I cant wait to get my first kata and weapons form next rank. I love doing forms, they are great for cardio and calming the mind (if that makes sense)

... and talk about cardio. At least for me, I'm on the fourth section of the form, I believe there are 8, but not sure on that. Each section seems to be the length of a kempo form, or at least close. Kempo forms are not usually more than 60 seconds long. When I complete this form, I'll let you know the length, or maybe someone who has it can do so. I've seen it done, and watching it, the form seems to be more than 3 minutes, but I wasn't timing it. It also relies heavily on breathing properly, which is why my instructor started me on it to begin with, he said I wasn't breathing properly in my kempo.

3 MIN? Thats insane. Once you get it if you could make a video, Id be interested in seeing it.

There are some versions of it on YouTube, they aren't exactly as I'm learning it, but will give you an idea.

Good morning people of the LPT.
I actually have a chance to post today! Home life and work have been keeping me busy from dawn till dusk.
