I know how you feel - I used to work at a restaurant and get home well into the early hours of the morning, usually covered in a layer of grease...

What exactly do you do?

I'm a telecommunications engineer. It's a 24x7 industry...people's phones need to work work no matter what time it is :D

That sounds quite complex! Is it interesting work?

It is complex. Insanely complex sometimes. I still haven't learned all of the interoperating protocols that we use. But it is definitely interesting and it's challenging...there's no shortage of problems to solve and things to learn. It generates a lot of adrenaline. A workday can go from mundane to breakneck with one phone call. So I basically suck it up and deal with the weird hours :D

Well, as long as you're aloud on MT during working hours?

When we get together I will tell you my motorcycle experience. It is a hoot over a couple of beers.
