So KempoGuy06 you are down in Louisville, Kentucky. I love driving through Kentucky and have wanted to check out some of the fun things to do in your state. What would be high on your list for someone to come and do?
Derby...plain and simple. From Thunder Over Louisville, to the Steamboat Race, to the Parade, to the Oaks and Derby itself. Probably the best three weeks ever in the city.

Yes I have heard that going to the Derby is simply a great time. Since I grew up around horses one of these day's I am going to have to make my way down there.

Oh man its great. The infield is something to see, but if you plan to drink bring a lot of money because it is costly, very costly. My favorite things are Thunder and the Chow Wagon

Sounds like fun. Maybe I will get my Dad to fly up from Las Vegas and we could hang out and talk horses. He would love that as he owned a bunch for quite a long time.

Hey guy's sorry I got pulled away. Your food sounds great Drac. I however have coffee in one hand and a home made brownie in the other.
(just a tiny brownie though)

7 pm to 7 am is a brutal shift. A long time ago when I worked for the DNR I worked a 3:30 pm to 3 am shift, Wednesday through Sunday. Talk about having your life on hold while working. That was the absolutely worst shift I ever worked. ( I also worked it for four years to help put my way through College)

The hard part for me is trying to keep our two kids quiet while she is trying to sleep. Saturday isn't too bad because they take class with me at the Y. Sunday is the worst. I either have them camped out downstairs with a movie or three, or we go for a drive to nowhere in particular.

Ya do what ya gotta to meet a goal...

Indeed. My 3rd shift counterparts keep insisting that I move to 3rd shift with them. I keep violently resisting. They each tell me stories about how "great" it is, but I don't see either one of them looking like they have a decent amount of sleep.
