Both. I always mix this up, bit, it has to do with Kanji, where it spelled with an "n", and pronounced as an "m", I believe. Either way is correct, and some chose one over the other to differentiate themselves from each other.
Its spelled both ways. One has more of a Chinese hint while the other Japanese. You'll see KeMpo more along the Shaolin, Villari lines. KeNpo more associated with Parker and Tracy.
Ah, thanks! Looks like it would be aninteresting art to practice someday. Right now it is all I can do to keep Ninjutsu somewhat straight in my mind.
