Doing pretty good here. Had to get up a bit earlier than normal to go fix a flat on my wifes truck. Can't figure out why it went flat. No obvious punctures and it'a a brand new tire that came on the new truck. Think I'll be calling the dealership here pretty soon.

My vac. started on Dec 20th and goes until the 29th. Since then, it seems like all hell has broke out. If I had a dollar for everytime my pager and phone went off with them trying to order me in to work, I'd have a nice pile of cash! LOL!

Right now I'm pretty lucky. I have work outside of my life! Don't know how long it'll keep going, but I'm gonna milk it for all it's worth while I can!

One of the big problems that we face is that nobody likes to work on the weekends. I call it the "Weekend Games." They usually start on Thur. and continue right up until Sunday. Thats when we see the majority of our bookoffs. Some seem to forget that when they signed up for this job, weekends, holidays and crappy shifts were part of the package.

Oh well..what can ya do.

That always seems to be part of the problem with what you do. I like the term "weekend games" as that is very appropriate.

Take them to the backroom and give them a real *** kicking, but remember to give them positive praise afterwards. It would only be fair to give than recieve

And then there are times when people try to manipulate the system by doing swaps with themselves and with others, just to get the weekend. Their excuse: "Friday and Saturday nights, I like to go out and spend time with my wife." Oooookay...and you're not the only one that has a wife. I'd like to spend some time with mine on the weekends too.
