Morning Kacey..Here is hoping for the best for you and your "buddy"...

Thanks... so far so good; it's time to feed him his second spoonful and see how he does. He seemed a little uncomfortable/depressed, so I gave him a painkiller; on a basically empty stomach, it seems to be putting him to sleep.

Morning Kacey and how is the man of the house doing and what do you have your agenda

He's doing well, thanks - he's being allowed to eat (very small amounts of very bland food), and his incision looks really good - clean, dry, not inflamed. Later this morning I am going to the blood bank; I have an appointment to donate at 9:00 am.

Sitting in the dispatch center and getting paid to post..How cool is that???

That is the life. Someday when I make a career change maybe I will be a dispatcher!

Morning all! :wavey:

Drac, that is cool that you can do that from work!

Brian, how is the CD?

Kacey, the pup seems to be doing very well, hope all continues to mend quickly and easily. I feel so sorry for him and you! I know how hard it is when they look at you with those puppy eyes pleading to be fed.

It is 6 degrees F here right now...I don't wanna go out into the cold :(

I'm ready to make the jump TODAY...I'd loose a little money which I could make up between my teaching and the part time gig..It's winding up on Afternoons or Nights that would be intolerable...

Oh, here is a picture of our newest family member. His name is Bug!

Good morning, Lisa. He's on his third spoonful in an hour... and begged me into a walk - but when I let him out in the yard he tried to chase a squirrel up the fence (normal behavior for him), so I had to do something. Now he's standing at the sliding door staring into the yard at the squirrel.

Awww... poor guy. He is probably thinking that he needs to get out there to protect you from those evil squirrels!

It's not me he's protecting - it's the vegie garden. The fact that there's nothing left in the vegie garden doesn't bother him in the slightest. Other than the shaved belly and the shaved strip on one front leg where the IV was, you can't look at him or his behavior and know anything happened. And there go the big brown puppy eyes again...

Yup, he is 16 weeks old. Yes, for bug eyed and the fact that he is a Boston Terrier X Pug.

I love the way he snorts! LOL!
