Thanks, but I'll stick with dogs...
We LOVE dogs too...But since we are rarely home it would be unfair to the animal especially a puppy..Hopefully in the future...

I heard from Sable's vet - he came through the surgery to remove the ball just fine and is in recovery. I can pick him up later this afternoon. He'll be kind of woozy for a day or two, and on activity restrictions for 10 days until the stitches come out.
No actually I'm at the school finishing everything I started a month ago on the remoduling of my school.
How is work today Drac
Very busy...All the crazies came outta the wood work...One male broadcasting that he was gonna off himself..Well its almost time for me to go home, and since I'm working tonight there will be no posting for me so I'll catch you all tomorrow......

It is going fine and looking forward to the weekend, just thought I start a few threads and see what happens.
What is going on with you?
Nothin really going on with me. Pretty much just sitting around waiting to hear from my parents
That is great news Kacey, I'm so happy for you.
Fantastic News, Kacey!artyon:
Thanks! He's home, and acting like nothing happened, and desparately begging for food, which he can't have until tomorrow - he's also on short water rations; the vet doesn't want too much going into his stomach at once. The staples come out a week from Tuesday... poor doggy, they shaved his stomach, and a strip on one front leg for the IV. He doesn't have to wear a cone, though, because the incision is in a place he can't reach... although he's trying. When the pain meds wear off it'll probably be different, but the vet tech told me it was the cleanest surgery of it's type she's seen in years - in and out, and no signs of additional problems. When he's feeling better, we'll have to go work on that "drop it" command some more, I think - he may be feeling okay, but it's taken months - probably years - off my life.
Here's a picture showing the shaving.
