I'm at home, attempting to slog through my homework... unfortunately, the professor wants us to use a matrix to organize our reports, and I find the matrix confusing and difficult to use, so I ended up writing the report first, and am now going back to fill in the matrix... ah well... only 2 more reports to go, and only one tonight; the other's not due for 2 weeks, and I'm not done with the data collection anyway...

My step-daughter from my first marrage had to do the braces thing and was not a happy camper..One day when her complaining got the better of me I told her if anyone should complain it was ME..I explained that she was wearing the cost of a Harley-Davidson that her mom finally agreed said I could buy..She never said another word..Just a little story that is no help..

We're taking my 12 y.o. daughter to the orthodontist tomorrow to have her X-rays interpreted, which will almost surely mean braces for her...she's not real happy about it but is keeping a good attitude anyway.

Thats good that shes trying to keep her spirits up about it.

I'm down to one PL day, which I'm saving for that 'rainy' day. I'm taking some time off around Christmas. Thats the one holiday that I don't like working. I want to be with the family that day. That and New Years.

I actually have Christmas Eve and Day off from the full time job...I might get stuck working Christmas Eve at the part time job which is no biggie..My Uncle live in the township where I work so I can stop by and get a plate of goodies and I bring some back for the dispatcher and they don't bother me for the rest of the evening....

Sounds like a good plan! I had all of the Christmas holidays off last year, but with the way the schedule and days off fell this time around, I'm supposed to be working. Everyone thinks I'm nuts to pass up the extra $$, but I'd rather be home.

This is one of the advantages of teaching school... I am off the week of Christmas and the week of New Year's, with no commitments the entire time except that I will be teaching TKD if any of my students are in town and available. Since my senior student will be home from college, I expect that at least she and I will be working out.

Yea my wife is off all next week and then again for two weeks during christmas and another for New Years.
