New computer, I need one of those! Mine is almost pertrified by now, it is 5 years old and in bad need of a trip to the dump. Maybe this winter I'll put a new one together again.

Yeah I've been having the same thougts myself lately... I need a new me... I mean new computer. LOL.

I recently had to put a new hard drive in Hos (Hunk of .... yeah) and noticed the decrepit state of everything in that battered case. I recently built a computer for my parants and one for my sister. But those were mere toys... when I built a new one for myself... yeah its gonna be fun.

*yawn* guess its time for me to shove off.

I owe I owe, off to work I go.

Yeah, sometimes I feel as though this old pig came over as the Nav. system on the Mayflower. I am eyeballing an Athlon 64 X2 5000+ system with 2 Gig of RAM and a few hundred in hard drive space. Nothing like going from a Vespa scooter to an F-16. Hard to think that the first computer I had cost a bundle and had a HUGE 130 Mb hard drive (no way to fill that baby!) Now 99% of my programs wouldn't fit on that thing.

My problem is I'm not very computer literate, but I'd love to have one that would be good for gaming. It's been a few years since this thing could handly any of the new games. I guess I should buckle down and learn about the stuff, but everytime I start to, it damn near puts me to sleep!

Last night was great. Ruffians had a blast wandering the neighborhood getting candy. Today is a lazy day until later when I will head into town to do a bit of training. How did your evening go and hope you have a great day.

Evening was great kids had alot of fun and that was important to me.

That would be a nice computer

Jeff the most fun is trail and error, that is the best way to figure them out.

Agree 100%. Everything I know is from poking around the innards of the "beasts." Still not even close to knowing a fraction of those who work everyday with them, but I can build my own from scratch and have sense the early 90's.

P.S. those DIP switches just plain stunk!

That's how I figure out sofware and apps, but seems like it'd be an expensive way to go about getting a new one!

How was your halloween Terry?

Fantastic the kids had a blast, so I had a blast
