That seminar sounds like a great time. I've often thought about getting some of the "Combat Cane" instructional material

Evening Jeff...CaneMaster has some EXCELLENT package deals on their website...If you ever are afforded to attend a seminar where Grandmaster Mark Shuey is teaching do so and bring your money...He almost always bring a wide selection of canes fo a substancial discount..It's the instructional portion that is not to be believed...

Are you talking about the cane stuff like He Il Cho or was it Jhoon Rhee did in the Billy Jack movie? And actually this is a seruios question

Kewl, I think I might be asking for some of their stuff for xmas then!

Too many years of my misspent young adulthood was drinking a bar..I'm was kinda use to it to... but I took a LOT of it to the seminar.

I bring wine..Father Greek brings JD and Master Schneider has a coffin sized ice chest filled with beer..We arrive at 3 and resistration is at 5..They open the bar for Happy Hour at 6 and for 2 hrs is FREE..After we drain them dry we head to our room for refreshments...

I can easily admit that these days that would kill me. But back then it would have been a nice start.

Amen to that..The only time I got into trouble was the first year I went by myself..I spent 10 minutes looking for Rm 502, there was no 502 I was in 205...

Very likely was Bong-Soo-Han that sounds right, I was trying to remember but apparently I went to too many seminars when I was young.

I have always thought the cane was very cool but I have never been able to find anyone that knows it. But I did recently come across a hapkido school in my area.

I did something similar in what I thought was Boston one night l ooking for a friends apartment, but I was in Cambridge. Long story short it ended up costing me about $125 and trying to convince the Cambridge PD I was not there to kill some drunk (or at least more drunk that I) that I did not threaten to kill him.
