I'm not a coffee person - I like the smell, but not the taste; I think it's because I first tried it when I 6... straight, strong and black, the way my father drank it at the time. Diet Coke, now... that's my caffeine source!

Ahhhh lady of the light, I love diet coke as well. See She-Whose-Fault-It-Is loves coffee and you love your diet coke. Both happen to be drinks of the Dark Lords and all Dark Siders. You both are close, so close to joining us.

It took years for me to develope a taste for coffee..It was always Coke Classic for breakfast..

Coffee is definately an aquired taste, but what a taste. While Coke, diet Coke and anything resembling Coke is fantastic right from the get go. I am switching to coke in a few myself.

Coffee is definately an aquired taste, but what a taste.

I will agree that it has to be an aquired taste, but my thought has always been, "why bother when so many other things taste great right from the jump?" Coffee falls into the same catagory as beer for me, something everybody else I know drinks, and items I have never (probably never will either at this point) developed a taste for. I get my caffine from Pepsi and my alcohol from CC or my buddy Jack D.

Being in construction I have tried coffee with everything you can think of. On a bitter cold day there is nothing that smells SOOOO good, but nothing has been able to turn the taste buds to coffee.

My Grandfather was the CC drinker of the Universe...He caught me mixing it with ginger ale one time and almost stroked.."You owna mixa CC wit water or onna rocks".. That's a direct quote...

See, that's my theory too - I can drink coffee if I doctor it enough - milk, sugar, creamer - but why bother, when there are things I like just the way they are?

I discovered Amertto creamer a few years ago and now coffee is no problem...

Being in construction I have tried coffee with everything you can think of. On a bitter cold day there is nothing that smells SOOOO good, but nothing has been able to turn the taste buds to coffee.

Got stuck directing traffic for another department while they moved one of these old houses from one location to another on a VERY cold bitter day...The OIC ( Officer In Charge) did a coffee run and gave everybody a cup...No cream, no sugar but I was so cold I didn't care..The only time in my lfe I ever drank it black...
