Wow Brian that is a spectacular photo.

They have tons of differant falls some big and some small. Needless to say you can sunbath, swim whatever around them. It is a great park on the western side of the state. They have a hotel, swimming pools, restaurant, etc. It is a model for how state parks should be.

Agree! I graduated from the SOO and still miss the UP

My only gripe with the UP is that it is so far away! Even from the middle of Michigan it is roughly a two hour forty five minute drive for me just to get to the bridge.

However, I could live up there is a heartbeat.

Yeah Brian, my wife loves the UP as well and i am sure one of these days, Maine is going to wear thin and we will be headed back "Home" to Michigan. The problem with the UP is the winter temps. The wife likes the snow but the cold really bothers her hands.
