I grew up in the SF East Bay though. Near Oakland. My old roommate is from Salinas not too far from Ord.

Sacramento isn't really to my liking. Terrible traffic no matter where you go. It sucks in every direction at just about any time of day. I much prefer the quieter area where my parents live which is just south of the oregon border.
