OK, just ran across these babies for those of you who are die hard bicyclists.

If you have to resort to these, just park the bike and walk or take the car.

I dunno... might've been easier than getting my car out - and a lot easier to push my bike than my car!

anybody out there yet, I will be without internet for a few days due to the move so tonight is UPWE last chance before we leave for the new house

Oh yea no cable either which means movie and alot of them, the kids are happy family time.

Hello Mike Scott and Kacey how are we doing tonight

Not bad... a little chilly, but that's just because I'm too cheap to turn the heat up higher!

Yeah, I'm here - I was trying to towel-dry the dog; he brings a lot of snow in on his paws and fur.

How's the moving going?

Tommorrow is D-day everything will be at the new house and without cable or internet until Tuesday

So Kacey since you admit to being cheap why do you have a dog they can get expensive

Evening Kacey! :) Whats the snow situation like? I heard more was on the way.

Sunday to Tuesday isn't too bad... when I moved into my house, the phone wiring was messed up, and I didn't realize it until I moved in; waiting on hold with the phone company on my pay-by-the-minute cell was not fun, but I'll give them this: they came out and fixed it the next day, which was a Sunday!

The cable was already wired so all they had to do was activate it, so that was done as soon as I notified them I was moving; it was ready when I moved in, but since I had dial-up at the time, that wasn't a problem... although while I was on hold with the phone company, I got really tired of hearing "to wait a shorter time, contact us through our website" - which I couldn't do, as my phone connection was so bad the modem kept giving me error messages.

Nope, they're not even predicting flurries now, and a gradual warming trend (20s tomorrow up to about 40 by Wednesday), so a lot of what we've got should melt off.

And hey, surprise of surprises - they sent an actual plow down my street - on a pickup truck, but this one actually plowed - so far it's been by 4 times (2 times each direction) - last time all I saw was 2 plow trucks come through once, with their plows well above the snow level.

Well this is a brand new home so all the wiring is there but they need to come connect the box to the house or something like that and since my DSL is though my cable company I'm at there mercy as far as a phone goes I only use cell phones I have no personal phone in the house.

Yea Kacey has a plow

I thought you had to have a working phone line for DSL - at least, that's what they told me when I had it.

Yes, thats one thing that sucks..waiting for the utilities to be hooked up. I hate when they give you that time frame of when they're coming. It always seems like its towards the end. If they say between 12-4, its always closer to 4.
