So what you're saying is that I don't pay attention to what other people say in their posts. Not listening is when you're not paying attention to what somebody is saying when they're talking out loud. So if Im correct you're saying that what I do is the equivalent of not listening when I don't pay attention to what people say in their posts.

nope... no one is talking out loud, they are typing for you to read... which you may or may not be doing

"pay attention" means dedicating your focus, time, and energy to a specific person, task, or environment.

I am saying you are not paying attention

Could also simply be you ignore their posts because, even though it is the correct answer, it is not the answer you want, so you continue to repeat the same thing, over and over and over again, in hopes that you may get the answer you are hoping for...not matter how incorrect that answer may be.

Could also be you don't want to put the effort into going back and checking what was previously written.....

Well as far as correct answers, that can vary depending on opinion. Some questions have clear cut and dry correct answers but there's some questions where the correct answer can vary from person to person. A question such as, "What's the best martial art?" that is a question where the correct answer will be different depending on the person. The best martial art is whatever art (or arts) you're able to make work for you and whatever art (or arts) you prefer and that will obviously depend on the person so asking such a question will get different answers from different people.

Now, as far as repeating the same thing over and over, there's some people on this forum who I know I will not change their minds. As such, when I do post such stuff Im not directing it at them but at other people on the forum.

You certainly have excuses

You are asking specific questions with getting specific answers, i can only assume you either are not taking the time to read them, or not getting the answer you want, so you keep barreling ahead …. Either way, i no longer care, you will never do anything different… so you do you… just don’t be surprised when folks get upset or stop responding
 
I think we have to be very careful here, it's like, ahem threading a needle
 
Photonguy is not alone in his inability to comprehend the notion of people fully understanding him and still disagreeing and he's certainly in good company. Most high profile politicians at least here in the UK seem to have the exact same problem. He'll go far if a righteous citizenry don't kill him first.

If people don't respond that's their choice and if the question wasn't addressed to them in the first place it's probably best if they don't respond. As for people getting upset, that's not my problem.
