You know, that is commonly assumed to be true, but a few years ago they actually did a study and showed conclusively that the phase of the moon does not affect the number or type of patients.

End of summer blues we had 5 stabbings with in 3 hours last night. So glad I'm on vacation now.
Two of them were shot while trying to rob a smoke shop. The only problem I had with it was that the owner used hardball. Need to teach her about hydroshocks... or Black Talons.

Yeah no kidding.
Last night was off the hook I'm not sure why I think they just wanted me to stay late the last night before vacation. And my last night working I transferred to day shift when I get back. I have not worked during the day time in over 6 years

maybe we just have more light pollution and don't notice it anymore.
I have certainly noticed an increase in crazy the week before the full moon on a site populated by about 90-95% of women...enough to take note and get the desk top gadget with the moon phases!

....this is kind of cool...yesterday, I bought new jeans for the first time in months (and I've always been slim), but these are loose! lol
