I’m headed to take some pictures in a local cemetery. It’s a gorgeous Seattle summer day outside. About 85F and sunny.
Hope you have a great time, and it is a beautiful day here as well

However, I don't think a walk in a cemetery would help me at the moment, kind of what I'm trying to get off my mind

Rippetoe has claimed, somewhat confusingly given the existence of backpacks, that there is no effective way of adding load to pushups, but in this family a child or sibling sitting on one's back is an effective way to add weight to the exercise
Ive done pushups with a scuba weight belt, but do not advise wearing it around the waist when doing so because it will add strain to the lower back. Instead, I would wear it across the shoulder, bandolier-style, to move the weight to the upper torso where it will be more directly in line with the work done by push-ups.

Too easy. But if you want to improve hand speed, clap behind your back.
From decades of ki development I'm able to do pushups with my hands clasped behind my back. Beat that one!:p
I anticipate a face-plant straight into the ground if I tried that.
Yes, this happened to me at first. Luckily, I have undergone the little-known Okinawan training in "iron face."😵‍💫

Took a little over 1,500 photos today. Will need to go back out. I think I got about halfway through. Couple of nice ones that give a pretty good impression of what the cemetery is like. This one is fairly old, by our standards at least. I think the oldest markers are from the late 1800s in the lower section, along with many that are very recent. I'm in no way any kind of photographer, but I try to take decent pictures. I'm more interested in creating the records so that folks can use them in their genealogical research.

In front i used to do all the time. Pretty sure I'd land on my face now if i tried it.

I'm not unathletic by any means, but 19 year old me would be ashamed if he saw all the things I could no longer do.
I’m 53 now, I have a damaged left anterior shoulder. I can do them but only a few. I would hesitate to do it on concrete now. Dental work is soooo expensive.

Apparently I sleepwalk. And move objects around when I do so, according to mum.
I would sleep-walk a lot when I was a kid, and would do things like pull the bedding off my bed and stuff it into the kitchen cupboards, or in the 10 gallon aquarium that I had, killing the fish. My biggest sleep-walking event was when I walked out the front door and over to the neighbors house where I rang the doorbell.
