Hong Kong, I was at the peak today and looking down on Hong Kong and Kowloon, I had the thought, I really wish I knew this city, but I don’t plan on coming back to learn.

Also I have seen this picture, with older buildings, in multiple movies. Could have spent hours up there looking, even though it was hot and humid

My mental health has taken a turn for the worse. No real reason, I just get depression from time to time. I was actually looking up how much of my medication I would need to take to cause an overdose yesterday. I hate this, I really do. I hate the spineless, idle coward it turns me into.

My mental health has also gone downhill recently, also depression, pretty bad at the moment, and not nice thoughts at all. I'm making sure to keep training which is a massive help, and to not isolate too much. And noticing and questioning the narratives I tell myself. Literally one moment at a time, and not trying to answer the purpose and meaning of all of existence right now haha.

Just had some excellent dim sum, but while there they started removing round tables and adding square tables. They were setting up diner, but the square tables were for mahjong. Welcome to Hong Kong

Well, breakfast was disappointing at this hotel…. I don’t fly to Japan to eat an American breakfast…and that is all it had. Basically fly to Japan to get food i can get in any Dinner in the USA

If it matters, purely from what you've shared on here I'm confident you are better than 90% of people.

About you being a coward, you are not. When I was younger I attempted suicide, had a knife to my neck, but couldn't put enough pressure to actually do it - I thought I was a coward then. I was not. I've helped many people in the decade since, and just knowing you from this forum, I'm sure you've helped many others.

If you ever need anyone to talk to, feel free to message me. If you need someone to talk you down when you're at your worst, I'll give you my phone number as well, along with a certainty that I am not being bothered by your messages. I guarantee I would rather get a call from you while I'm asleep or busy, then one day realize you haven't posted and not knowing why.

I travel some here in China and always go for bacon/sausages and eggs and baked beans for breakfast at the hotels, because at home it’s always baozi breakfast

I don’t fly 14, to a 16 hours for and American breakfast like toast, bacon and eggs…. But then I would drive 15 minutes for bacon, I don’t like bacon

Beijing was best for me, jianbing every morning

Jianbing(kind of a Chinese pancake) was my (almost)daily breakfast on the go heading for morning class during my two years in Beijing
