Work for government specific, nothing to do with any certification. Sexual harassment training, pronoun training, safety training, etc. its all HR CYA stuff

And to be honest, at this point, down the road is retirement and if I have anything to say, nothing to do with IT. But my certs are fine for now.

I’m officially a senior citizen soon with a gov pension, and Mrs Xue is working so, my plan is train what MA i can, for as long as I can…. Hers is I clean the garage and the basement
So, combine the cleaning with martial arts practice. Because her plan is going to win... so you might as well make it work for you.

Trying to make a decision on a date myself...

For the past few days I have been craving coca cola. I don't usually drink it, but some days I just get random urges to do so

go for it, as far as cravings go, that is not that bad. I have discovered, over the years, that when I get a craving for some food that I can try and fight it, and end up eating many other things I really didn't want. Or I can give in, eat it and get on with things. As long ss it is not something that will hurt me, it is better to give in than fight it...cuts down on the calories

OK, I'm going to retire to the mountains for 4 days starting tomorrow to lead a simple life of conservation, gardening, art and kata. See you all Saturday and best of luck to @Wing Woo Gar in his horrible illness. God bless.

Also, bags don't hit back they say; Well, I say that you get mauled a lot less by your nephew and niece if you get them to hit your bag rather than you. Why didn't I think of this earlier?

You know…. If i can get mt shoulder working again and if Mrs Xue agrees…. When I retire, potentially i could be training martial arts 5 or 6 days a week…..at least for a little while šŸ‘ā€¦ and yes… i am addicted and to more than just xingyiquan apparently

I am out of hospital but not recovered. I must return to hospital twice daily for IV antibiotics infusion. I am coming out of the fight of my life. Please take good care of yourselves, I never saw this coming. Bacterial meningitis is a serious heavyweight opponent that will stomp you into oblivion even if you are in peak shape. The organism that infected me is still unknown. My CSF cultures did not grow anything. Only massive doses of multiple antibiotics, antivirals, and steroids saved my life. I suffered pain that dwarfed all previous experiences. I am being monitored by infectious disease specialists that have taken a professional interest in my case. I appreciate all of your concerns and support. I feel lucky and grateful. This disease kills 15-20% and often has debilitating and permanent effects after treatment including loss of sight, hearing, limbs, and mobility. Cognitive impairment is also possible. So far I am not having any of those except some confusion and anxiety. Thank you all. Be good to each other.

Glad you're getting back on top. Best wishes, man!

After reading your DM a while ago, I was convinced you were going to try and ā€˜break out’ of hospital!šŸ˜³šŸ˜„

Wow...

Let's hope your recovery continues to be positive. šŸ‘

I've known some well-known CMA teachers who faced serious health challenges later in life. What always impressed me was how they approached those challenges with the mindset their years of practice had helped cultivate.

Wishing you continued strength and a steady recovery.

I'm so sorry you've been so unwell, that sounds utterly horrific... so hoping you're on the mend, you're in my thoughts brother, sending love šŸ™šŸ»

Well, I think I will log off and watch a Chinese movie, "Fight Against Evil 2" staring Mo Tse (Xia Miao)
