With mental illness, you sometimes have bad days in spite of medication, support and things getting better generally. Today is one of those days. I have so much I need to be doing, but I can't face actually doing any of it. It's what my friend calls 'grey depression', where nothing quite seems real and you don't really feel anything. I'll be fine in a day or so, just got to get through today.

Those days are the worst. Sometimes going out and being around people helps, sometimes it makes it worse as you just wonder why everyone else is having fun and you're 'isolated' by not.

As you said, the only real solution is to know that just like it comes out of nowhere, it can leave out of nowhere as well. Do whatever you can today, and Hopefully you wake up tomorrow in a better state.

Decided to do my workout anyway. It sucked, but it makes me feel better

One day at a time my friend. We all suffer from these feelings, you are not alone.

Also: if there is anything more obnoxious than two people who have been dancing together for decades watching strictly then I do not want to know about it.

@Prince_Alarming Here is another Li Bai

Quiet Night Thoughts

Beside my bed, as bright as the moon,
Is it frost on the ground, I guess.
Raising my head I gaze at the moon,
Lowering it, longing for home.
— Li Bai, before 742

Amazing, it could have been written yesterday, but it's hundreds of years old

My foot is better! Now my brain has crapped out. Dragged myself through a workout anyway.

You know, i could retire today, but i have set the date for roughly 18 months from now…. I’m not sure I’m going to make it… I want to retire now… but i shall try

Got sent home from work because there was nothing more needed doing. Boss was like "you really have to either not work as hard or charge me more money".

Get in, loser, we're doing dumbbell stuff
