Ok, 28 isn't COLD cold....but when you are standing outside a store, in the dark, with wind....it gets old in a hurry!

took the damp and cool weather to chance 'cookie booth' outside the store. Need no sick girls - or a relapse on my own cold.

Had a interesting conversation with a 12 yo the other day: Since I was born in Germany, if I was on Hitler's side.
Ah, no, Sweety, he was a little before my time!

But it was touching to hear her proclaim that she believed my Granddaddy was in heaven, having realized that the Nazis were bad, causing him to walk away from the war (and getting himself shot for it).
My girls are so sweet!

Nah, that's to warm...its 11F at the moment here but with wind-chill its -5F.... last night it was 0F and this morning it was 9 when I got up

yup, unless it is a couple feet of more of snow it is pretty much business as usual...which gets to be a real pain around day 4 of temps below zero
