Not sure where to oput this topic exactly but if someone were challenged to spar full contact against 2 - 3 people at the same time, what do you think would be the best martial art style to use?

Doesnt work that way. In terms of Sparring, it doesnt matter what You learn, so long as it practices Multiple Opponent Sparring.
Otherwise, if it were for a Challenge, and You had no prior experience in it, it becomes a question of Tactics.
And those Tactics are anything from lining people up so that They get in each others way, to standing-grappling to use someones back like a meat shield, so just finishing quickly, to trying to push one back so that You can engage the other.

Seconding what Cyriacus has said (the style is really irrelevant, there is no best etc etc etc), I'm curious as to why this is in the MMA section.... any particular reason there?

Stop drinking, call a cab, and leave the bar.

I'll move it to the General MA section.

And to comment on what Chris and Cyriacus said, I also agree....its not so much the style, as long as mult. opponent work is done.

Combat marksmanship.

Otherwise, it's a strategic question. There are approaches that you can use, from a variety of martial arts.
