3 solution: There are multiple reasons not to participate ...
To me, form is for teaching and learning only. Form is not for training. Also, I don't believe if you train form 1000 times, you will become a good fighter.
A form may contain many logical sequences such as: a1,a2,a3,b1,b2,c1,c2,c3,c4 where
- a3 and b1 have no logic connection.
- b2 and c1 also have no logic connection.
It's better to train
- a1,a2,a3 1000 time,
- b1,b2 1000 times,
- c1,c2,c3,c4 1000 times,
than to train
- a1,a2,a3,b1,b2,c1,c2,c3,c4 1000 times.
Also, if a form contains "front kick, straight punch" combo, you should also train "side kick, hook punch" combo, "crescent kick, hammer fist" combo, and ...
In other words, if a form tells you that a table has 4 legs, and the form only shows you 1 leg, you have to figure out the other 3 legs by yourself.
Here is an example of to repeat a1,a2,a3 left and right over and over. I do believe this is the proper way to train.
