Hi everyone. I hope you will look at my post in meet and greet on Dong Mu Yao White Crane.
Unfortunately, I have to start on a negative note,maybe not so much negative as a correction:
1. the only successor to Master Dong (other than a nephew that I know of in China), is SONG TIEN CHI of Taipei, Taiwan,
He was with Sifu over 25 years and taught every newcomer including me. He is still teaching in Taipei last time I saw him.
2. I do not discredit other students. But i think the successorship rests on Song's shoulders. While Sifu didnt name him as a succesor,he most certainly didnt name anyone else, and if they are claiming so they are propagating a falsehood.
3. Since there has been much interest in Sifu's crane style I want to offer a LEGITIMATE way into the lineage, so that you can claim Sifu without shame.
4.The way forward is a three day condensed seminar(still in my head) for blackbelts only. this seminar working title is "Shiao He", which means little crane. It would consist of one form, some simple push hands,and a pole form. Each day would cover each topic. At the end would be a certificate ceremony.
this is my dream. I hope we can make it happen. I have not made any money off Sifu's name but I know he wanted me to be succesful if i did teach.
I hope some karate sensei can help me move forward with this.
