Wholly crap, that's not good news, Arni! ... but gots to be done for your future and the good news is, that although it is serious surgery, it is a fairly common surgery nowadays, with and exceptionally high success rate.

Sorry to hear about it though.

Yes, I feel the same--it's gotta be done. It's such a long recovery period that it's depressing to think about though.
