Yea the mental toughness issue I have noticed as well, but I only saw after he tore his knee in the playoffs (good lord that was terrible to watch). Once he shakes it off though I think it will be ok, (what really pisses me off is all the people giving him crap for. If I had my knee torn like his that almost ended my career Id be a little shaky in the pocket as well, would you agree?

Not too much at this point ... I have to actually work my primary job today ... I hate it. Can't wait until I can retire, I'm bored to death.

We bought a small, cheap surround sound system that we hooked up at the school last night. Now I need to find some 5.1 music, DVD-A is the best bet, but there's not a whole lot out there.

So do you play music when you are training? I have tought about it but really did not know if it was a good thing or not.

We play traditional chinese instrumental music during kung fu classes (which haven't started yet at my new school) and some sort of rock, pop or hip-hop during empo classes, but only the warm up period.

Is that a distraction to some or does it motivate the room to try harder. My wife wants to put i music but I really have never done it.

If we were to play music throughout the kempo class, I believe it would be a distraction, but during warm-ups is fine (dependent of course on how you run warm-ups). During kung fu class, the instrumental music is soothing (that's the best word I can think of at the moment).

Right now I'm on the phone trying to see if someone can take my place on the business trip I'm supposed to be going on this afternoon. My father-in-law is in emergency surgery and my wife is, understandably so, freaking a bit.

i train at home with music, depending on what Im doing depends on the music. Like if Im working forms Ill listen to some country or slow tempo music, if Im working out its rap, if Im shadow boxing or working the bag its rock, or alternative
