I spent Christmas on the couch ... LOL ... mostly anyway. I also went to Chevy's for dinner, grilled steak tacos.

My Christmas was great! Good food, good company, and even good gifts for a change. Hope yours was as good as mine.

As to the reason I'm pissed, my instructor was visiting My wifes and my class tonight. I asked him about upping the contact level and realism of the attacks and he go mad at me. I'm not really sure why, but I ended up leaving class early 'cause I just couldn't stand to be around him anymore.

Yes. We were off to the side well away from all the students while they were doing ukemi drills. I have no idea why he went off the way he did.

Who knows, maybe my primary art is about to change to something respectable!

We are of a similar art and rank. I just changed for the third time, but my base art has stayed Kempo, eventhough there have been slight differences.

Spent it with my relatives. Lots of food, pretty good company and some rather...interesting moments, such as trying to convince my mom that a blister-pack of Bic pens is a crappy Christmas gift for a 17 year old. Ahhhh family. Can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em. LOL!

May I ask where your instructor's roots are? EPAK, Cerio, Villari, USSD, ???

The technique he teaches is spot on, but he's gotten to the point of having the hammer so all problems are nails.

The weird thing is, he didn't used to be that way just a few years ago.
