Whenever a dispatcher calls off or has requested a holiday..It use to be officers assigned to radio just sat on their butts, answered phones and dispatched calls..The new CAD system makes it a little more challenging so not to many want to do it..Hey 5 more years and I can retire, besides teaching def/tec I'll need some other marketable skills..
