OMG!!!!! Just got off the phone to my best friend who's waters broke this morning!!! She was having contractions while I was on the phone - damn near broke my heart as I'm stuck offshore miles away in the ocean. Still, really excited for her (and a bit nervous) and hoping to god that things go well. Can't wait to see her when I get home!!!!!

I'm due home on Wednesday (at long last!) but the next few days are gonna drag. At least by the time I'm there she should be out of hospital and I'll have a few days off to lend a hand. None of us know boy or girl yet, anybody wanna place a bet??

After having 4 ourselves, Laura (my wife) and I just wish her all the best and does the gender really matter? As long as Mom and Baby do well and everybody is happy, healthy, and home nothing else matters. Let us know Heather when you have the scoop.

Doing great here in the frozen North. Got a little more snow last night (5 or 6 inches is all) they were predicting 16" and high winds, but thank God that didn't materilize. The Ruffians are rejoicing that the snow is finally here to stay and that the sledding hill is just 100 yards from the house. My Hot Chololate and Mini-marshmallow bill is going to be huge this year!

Hey Bydand and Terry. We are freezing up here in Michigan. Fortunately I enjoy this kind of weather! :erg: Still recovering from the wine party last night good food and drink was had by all!

Oh a wine party. My wife would love stuff like that. Up here though a wine party would consist of a couple of boxes of your best and a bug zapper. Culture is kind of lacking in this neck of the woods. She does love the Cherry wine from Chateau Chantal up in the Traverse City area though.
We had some really, really good California wine that a friend brought back from Napa valley. Even one of the local Michigan wine's was really good. Everyone had fun!!!
I'm a pint low; I give blood regularly, including this morning.
Thanks... today I got a calendar... I like the t-shirts better! But I do it because it's my form of community service; I started when I was too broke to donate to charities, and came up with blood donation instead - my father donated when I was a kid, and I just sort of grew up with the idea.Good for you Kacey.
